My name is Chris and my goal is to become a Ranger. I am a former Marine Corps officer candidate but decided not to return to the PLC Seniors program because I was unable to switch my contract from air to ground. I went to MEPS a week ago and attempted to enlist with option 40 but was unable to. I was told the Army could not guarantee a job this far out (looking to ship 200601) but that if I were to come back in a month or two I could secure it. I will not be posting on here due to obvious reasons. I will, however, be reading at least once daily. I am a college student who will be finishing up 20051218. The information I have received on this website thus far has been truly valuable. I will update once I have signed that option 40 contract. Thank you for your help so far.

ummmmmm.......welcome to the site. The answers you are SEARCHING for are here. My advice is to go to the Recruitment section and talk to SFC Hit_it. He and the other recruiters on the site willo be able to answer your dilemas. Don't be a quitter.
