Reminds me of the time when I flipped the bird in my Little League team photo.

When I was in Kuwait Pres. Clinton came to visit. I was deployed out with the AF. The AF were all excited to see the President come to their area and get an opportunity to shake his hand. Their 'First Shirt' or 'Shirt' (1SG) came by and invited anyone on my team to go if we wanted. My E5 team chief looked at the guy and said - no we don't want to go see that Draft dogging don't ask don't tell Son of a bitch. The First Shirt turned red and backed out of the Army detachment AO. And we laughed our asses off.

Cat that was a very good story. Luckily for you that was the 1st sgt and not President Clinton as he might have sent the men in your tent elsewhere so that he could be alone with you. Dang, why did I say that?

Because you're from New Yawk :P

I have another story about Clinton the President. When I was back in Georgia I had a cartoon picture of the President at a rifle range holding the weapon upside down and all the Brass rolling their eyes at him. Anyway I had it taped to my refrigerator during one room inspection.

My chain of command had seen it and laughed at it but the Col. was visiting from AZ and jumped in my face about disrespecting the President.

The Col. had my entire chain of command(and myself  ) standing at parade rest at battalion over the stupid picture. All I kept thinking in my mind was ---article 15 --- article 15!

My Battalion Commander calmed down my Brigade Commander and I was told to take it down. On the way back over to the barracks my 1SG told me that I could put it back up when the Brigade Commander went back to AZ. :D

Thanks for sharing another shocking and amusing story Cat.

I remember a story of when Pres. Clinton was leaving Washington for the final time before boarding Air Force One. A U.S. Marine Detail consisting of 7 men fired 3 times, a 21 gun Salute. When Pres. Clinton boarded AF1 and disappeared from sight the Marine Gunny Sgt in charge of the detail was heard saying to the 7 men, "Men, you all missed Pres. Clinton 21 times. Report tomorrow morning on the rifle range for re-qualification!"

A funny side note about the cartoon is that it was part of a Penthouse mag. If the Col. would have ripped it off my refrigerator and turned it over he would have gotten an eye full :!:

I kind of knew this was coming. It wasn't my mag. I found it in the trash with the cartoon on the cover. I ripped off the cover and threw the rest back in the trash.

Was that when you had the room mate who got lost on the way back from the range that day?

Cat, do you mean you don't look at the earings the girls are wearing or even the nice and revealing evening wear? What do you wear to bed? I hope nothing. Cat you don't check out the make-up or lipstick or eyeliner that they use. After all they are being prepared by make-up artists. I would open my occassional girlie book to find the earings or rings already cut out by the wife. Sometimes, even the ladies head was missing. And I would say to myself, "Dang shit, I am too late. This one is already "Headless Betsy".

Well I don't wear a lot of make-up unless I have an occasion to. On a daily basis I prefer to look natural. Jewelry is not my thing either. I have a vanity full of jewelry that I hardly ever wear. The jewelry that I do wear means something to me because of the person who gave it to me. That, Rgr Steadfast, you can’t find or clip out of a magazine :D .
