I can probably name a few reasons for leaving Hawaii. :)
1. Kolekole pass....
2. When I was there, a gallon of milk in Honolulu was about $4.
3. It's a friggin' rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
I do miss raiding the Dole pineapple fields, girls in bikinis, rain that stops as soon as it starts and dries up even quicker, and weekends at the Outrigger Reef.

Easy fixes:
1. Kolekole pass....Haven't been there since I retired.
2. When I was there, a gallon of milk in Honolulu was about $4. Don't buy milk - beer is better....and cheaper.
3. It's a friggin' rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Yeah, away from all the fruits and nuts on the mainland. :D
