Wouldn't change anything yet. It's been interesting so far... I've had responsibilities and my share of shit, opportunities and my share of luck. I've screwed up, but not irreparably, and managed to get a few things done that I've been proud of. If I died today, it'd be without regrets. That said, I'm 22 so I have plenty of time to mess up yet.

Shit, Ride, you haven't even left the starting gate yet - too early to regret anything. But, seeing that you've been claimed by Ranger Matador, looks like you're working on it.RideGrrl wrote:Wouldn't change anything yet. It's been interesting so far... Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

This is easy, I wouldn't have gotten into a fight at Ranger School, wouldn't have sneaked off to score some putang prior to graduation and in doing so miss a routine formation and I would have never gotten out of Regiment 3 months later. 3 of the biggest mistakes of my life no doubt about it.
Oh and I would have never married my first wife that I met at the Hidden Door at Benning. (did I mention she wears a rag around her head now)

You actually met a FEMALE at The Hidden Door?!? Hell, that's an accomplishment in and of itself!Bugsy wrote:This is easy, I wouldn't have gotten into a fight at Ranger School, wouldn't have sneaked off to score some putang prior to graduation and in doing so miss a routine formation and I would have never gotten out of Regiment 3 months later. 3 of the biggest mistakes of my life no doubt about it.

If I could do it all over again I'd like to be a third world dictator.
It's good work when you can get it.
