Not to reopen any old wounds, but IMHO Moms get a special place at the ranger table. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I sure wouldn't want my Mom hovering over me while I tried to make the hook up, but can we not maintain a level of respect?
I like a good floozy as much as the next ranger, and I sure don't want anyone scaring them off, but it's God, Country, Mom and Apple Pie, in that order. Forums and loose women fall in somewhere down the line, and Ranger Moms get in front of all the other moms.
My advice to Moms is that if you don't want to watch Men doing Men things, then look the other way, or don't expose yourself to the horror. Most Moms are pretty good at this already.
I'm glad my Mom hasn't found this site. I'm not sure where it would go when the first guy told her to fuck off, but it wouldn't be pretty. While it is true that this is a ranger house, my mom is always welcome in my house, and she is free to say whatever she pleases, whether I like it or not. I'd never dream of telling her to shut her trap, and I can't imagine a fellow ranger telling her either.
ATTENTION: New women members.

I agree, yet H8 has a point but Ranger family members have a right of a certain amount of respect as well. She made an observation and I believe a valid one. I personally think the wrong message goes out when she was addressing the "women" members of this site that are new, didn't call anyone out by name and let it be known without disrespecting anybody.Matador275 wrote:Amen, I am sure that the choice of words would be somewhat different being directly confronted with one's own mother.
Lets not make this shit to be anything more than a site member trying to keep a certain standard amougst their own.

Some good points, but since some moms who cant cut the apron string disaprove of things on this site, are we gona quit cussing, posting necked women pics, get rid of the DSOTYR and RLDJdZorro wrote:Not to reopen any old wounds, but IMHO Moms get a special place at the ranger table. When I go to my Moms house I do what she says under her roof, but no one tells me how to conduct affairs at my house.

As my previous post stated there is nothing more to say, so this post was unnecessary.rangermom wrote:I am not sure just why I got my head taken off for echoing the observations of many. Including the head biters.
To my knowledge I have never been disrespectful or caused any conflict to anyone here and thought that I was welcome.
I apologized already and don't know what more to say about the matter.
*shrug*
And for the record, using the excuse "I am not sure just why I got my head taken off for echoing the observations of many"
is weak, if you are gona to apologize for something I would hope it was for doing something, even if wrong, that you did because you believed in it, not because everyone else was doing it

Since I was the one that started this landslide, I would like to offer a few comments on the resulting cluster fuc'.
Since joining this site I have developed a healthy respect for the standards that are upheld on this board. Rangers demand the respect that they have earned, and in turn offer respect and support to their brothers family members, parents, sisters, etc.
I have NEVER been offended by any content posted on this board. I have read and participated in a number of "discussions", some congenial, some a little less so. I have enjoyed the free flow of opinions, even those contrary to my own.
I do not participate in this site because I am "unable to cut the apron strings". My son and I have no mommy issues. I joined to gain support and information that would not otherwise have been available. I have in fact received far more than that, gaining friendships that will continue on far past the need to worry over ours son's safety.
My original post was an attempt (however misguided) to continue to uphold the standards that you yourselves have set, and in doing so probably came across as too much of a "mom". (I was feeling a little protective of you Rangers)...I KNOW...YOU DON'T NEED IT!!!!
That said. I believe the content of my post was correct. However, it should have been handled differently and kept private with pm's. I apologize for that.
My Thanks to all that offered support, both in public and private. I apologize for the flak you have taken for that.
