Why are you letting your Paramedic go to waste? Why not join as a Ranger medic. I truely believe that has got to be one of the best jobs in Bn.

Not trying to rain on your parade......I admire your willingness to join up and strive for the Tab and Scroll. I am speaking from my past experience as an 11B and as a current firefighter/EMT. Paramedic certification will take you far in this world should you ever decide to get out of the Army. Being a medic in Bn will expose you to things that most people out there with a PM patch will never see. Medics in Bn receive the most cutting-edge pre-hostpital medical training out there. If you showed the apptitude and committment to get your PM cert., I think that you would find that being a medic in Bn will be to your benefit and the benefit of those in your platoon. Just my thoughts...take them or leave them and welcome to the site.

Apologize for the disrespectful use of the word Ranger without Capitalizing. Will not happen again. Believe it or not you are a lot of help sir. Thank you.

Don't call a Ranger Sir young man unless you know for sure they are an Officer. In this case Ranger Kilted Heathen is not a Sir. He is an NCO. You will use his full name whn you are speaking to him. He is not a Heathen, he is Ranger Kilted Heathen. Treat him with the respect he deserves and you will survive.

BTW, welcome
