Great Song

Post by Ace »

Hey everyone there is a great song that I think everyone should listen to
It's by Jackson Brown and the Song is called There Are Lives in the Balance

Now for the ones who do not know of Jackson Browne he is a great musical artist. His songs are very political. The Song Lives in the Balance is not strong for war but is a great song none the less.

To me this song shows how thing look on the other side of the line for many people. Hope you guys like the song feel free to smoke it if you don't its all in your own opinion and everyone has them
"Why?"
"The Question is why not"
"Well, Why"
"I know it's in my heart and soul"
"And if you don't make it?"
"Thats not an option"

The only way I want to look at it from the other side of the line is when I am coming back across the kill zone from doing an ambush on some dumbass. I'll get a real good look, right before I call in arty to cover my withdrawl.

For those of you DEPs or non-military types out there who don't know why I said that - officers in the military are addressed as 'Sir'. Enlisted and Non-commissioned officers are addressed by their rank. I was not an officer in the Army, but an NCO - as NCO's are the backbone of the Army and as we're fond of saying - 'I worked for a living'.

I wish I knew Ranger Plavney was a recruiter in Texas before I talked to mine. There are a bunch of fat deps at my recruiting office so the PT is a breeze.
