Not only would puking your guts out right now, after a deadly 12min/mile run for disrespecting an E8, but I would probably make sure that your little pathetic "no runnning , breathe at your own pace" profile gets torn to pieces and you get out of the army.
But now all of a sudden you have decided that you don't want to be scared of jumping anymore? What has changed? Now when you are on the bird you get a warm and fuzzy? hahahahahahahhahaa
A prayer to the Pastor:
OK, here is the prayer.
Oh, GRITS...giver of Life, taker of life, destroyer of Pouge's....Mae West is not good enough. Total Malfunctions work best. And GRITS, while your at it, think you can hook MAtador up with the Blond chick in the picture...that boy REALLY needs to get laid by something other than a Camel or Yak!

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.

Welcome. May I suggest you remain in that REMF position. It's probably what your good at. There are positions for troops and they excel in them.
If that's what you do do it well. The first thing to do is be honest to yourself. If you are doing a good job why change? The battle is won on many fronts including the back with the REMFs. Stand tall were you stand or don't stand at all.

Hey man, every job in the military is important. Granted some seem sexier than others I guess. If you are good at something other than snake-eater type shit, stick with it. As far as jumping, I honestly wasn't a big fan of that shit - but guess what...I did one just about every week it seemed. You don't have to like it, you just have to do it. Good luck in your pursuits no matter what they are and stay safe.
P.S.
That's a scary fucking thought - a rigger who doesn't trust in his equipment.
