Intro
Good afternoon Rangers:
Hey I'm a 20 year old from the Cincinnati area. I just got home from school and am thinking about joining the Army. I've been a member of the board for a while but I haven't posted much of anything, I just keep and low prolife and read a lot. Thanks for the great site.

Question#1:
What was it on the way home from school that caused you to "want to join the Army"?
Question#2
Why has it taken you so long to provide an Intro?
Question#3
Do you plan to try and get an Opt40 Contract?
If so I applaud you for wanting to serve our country and best of luck if your desire is to become a Ranger.

I have always wanted to join the army. It's not just a sudden idea that popped into my head. I went to a military highschool and then tried college but I just didn't want to be there, I have to follow my heart. People often ask me why I would do something like that and I don't have the words to ell them. It's just a feeling. I am ready wiling and able, so why not. As for the opt 40, I would never turn one down but I really don't want to wait six months to get it. I was thinking of going for an airborne contract, but we'll see wheat the job counselors have to offer. I won't sign without airborne though. Sorry it took so long to post an intro, I just wanted to read and wasn't thinking of posting a lot.
