Re: Introduction - Alex

Already done Ranger Jim. I recite it at least once daily and carry a copy with me everytime I leave my house. I've started studying up on Ranger heritage by reading books written about the Regiment. 443 days to go until I am eligible. Never Quit!

Re: Introduction - Alex

Most recent APFT:

Score: 232
Push-ups: 43
Sit-Ups: 69
2-mile: 14:08
Pull-Ups: 4

Disappointed with my slow progress. Will keep working and post next APFT within 1-2 months. 450 Days until I start the process of enlisting.

Re: Introduction - Alex

Good afternoon Ranger Jim, Sir.
I have been continuing my training program and will self-administer APFT (+ Pull-ups) once I am finished with it in roughly 5 weeks time. 501 Days to go until I sign on the dotted line. Apart from that I have been keeping busy with college. Never Quit!

Re: Introduction - Alex

Update:

I have just found out that I CAN earn a slot to RASP during OSUT/BCT. I am extremely happy with this news, as now my future is mostly in my hands.
All that remains now is to PT hard, and prepare for when I'm eligible (August 2017). I will try to get the time somehow waived (I spent most my ...

Re: Introduction - Alex

Ranger Jim, Sir, thank you for the link. Unfortunately the information there is nothing new to me. There is however an email provided for potential 75th Recruits. If my recruiter doesn't reply within a week or so I'll send them an email with my question.
Thank you for your help Ranger Jim.

Re: Introduction - Alex

Ranger rangerjd, sir, I was stupid to think that CharlieRanger was a reference to a name and not to C Company of the 75th Infantry (Ranger) Regiment. My apologies to Ranger CharlieRanger1FFV.
This will not happen again. Same goes for the APFT. I will take the test within 72 hours and post the ...

Re: Introduction - Alex

Thank you very much for the welcome Ranger Jim and Ranger Charlie. I will keep up with the PT, I know that with the large amount of time I have to prepare it would be a disgrace if my scores are anything below 300.

I'm looking very hard for any information on how a MAVNI soldier would get to the ...

Introduction - Alex

Good Morning Rangers,

My name is Alex, I'm a 19 year old Polish student studying in Long Island, NY

I'm enlisting in August 2017 (as soon as I'm eligible) under the MAVNI program, since I'm not a citizen. I will most likely enlist as an 11X, but still haven't fully made up my mind as to what MOS ...
