Re: Introduction - Noah
Ranger Jim, I believe my medical visit went well. The doctor said that there is little remaining evidence of my condition and my hip is functionally normal. He recommended my release for all activities with no restrictions. I gave this report to my recruiter so that he can send up the med read. He ...

Re: Introduction - Noah
Rangers, here is an update of my current progress. On 15 September, I was able to reserve an 11X Option 40 contract, and I went to MEPS on 16 September. I was medically disqualified because of I had Legg-Calve-Perthes' disease as a child. I was fully released for all activities when I was six, and I ...

Re: Introduction - Noah
I was informed today that my MEPS date has been postponed due to work being done there. I will now probably be going down 24 September so that I can enlist 25 September.

Re: Introduction - Noah
Ranger Affirm, yours is a very valid question. It is also one which I have been asked many times, and I'm sure I will be asked many times the future. As I am not a very introspective person and seldom question my own motives, I have not as of yet been able to articulate a satisfactory answer, but I ...

Re: Introduction - Noah
Just an update from my trip to MEPS yesterday: I took the ASVAB, and my AFQT percentile score is 99. All my line scores are between 130 and 141. My recruiter told me that several Option 40 contracts are available for me, but none are infantry, so they'll have to request an 11B Option 40 contract for ...

Re: Introduction - Noah
Ranger Jim, I am going to MEPS tomorrow to take the ASVAB. I had been waiting for a traffic ticket to get cleared up, and it was dismissed yesterday. I'm also waiting for my med read to come back before I can get my physical, but my recruiter has expressed confidence that it won't be an issue.

Re: Introduction - Noah
Ranger Jim, I live in Northwest Georgia, and I attended Berry College. I have wanted to join the service since I was a boy, and I feel that the best way for me to serve my country is as a Ranger. Also, I would like to surround myself with the highest caliber of soldiers possible, and I believe the ...

Introduction - Noah
Hello, my name is Noah, and I'm a 19 year-old from North Georgia. I have graduated high school and attended one year of college. I am currently in the process of enlisting, and I hoped to serve in the 75th Ranger Regiment since my childhood when I talked to one of my father's friends who was a ...
