OPSEC?

Post by candyman »

I searched for an answer all over the forums and was curious as to how operational security works. What I mean by this is, when can you talk about an operation that has taken place, such as when the media some how finds out things they should not and also how it becomes declassified. I know the government has to declassify certain amounts of information yearly, but some things in books, such as Blackhawk Down, etc seem too recent to disclose.

IF you make it, things like this will be explained to you. I know you want to learn, all you need to focus on right now is P.T., your General orders, Ranger Creed etc..

You will be briefed by your COC when you arrive at your unit as to what is OPSEC and what is not.
