As stated in my post above, veterans from all branches are welcome here. Like everyone else, however, they must abide by our posted rules. That is all that is being said to you. Read the FAQ's...

Pretty simple actually, address Ranger's as such and though a joke is taken as such, it is usually wise to know your target audience. No one was smacking on you for anything other than that. Veteran's believe that they can come in here thinking it's their house and it is not. We have an incredibly distinctive decorum here and one that has not only withstood the test of time but also the test of our Brotherhood. I am sure that you have some submariner Brotherhood of your own to go to if you aren't wanting to be a part of this community.

If however you are, grow a thicker skin as you are out in the sunlight now. Recognize that there are those here who have, are and will do more than you have dreamed of. Though I offer an earnest amount of respect to anyone who has served honorably, I don't believe that I am going to be tapping anything extra out on your cake because of it. You served. As far as those who are or are not in uniform, I don't think you have even the most remote of concepts how deep our service goes and continues to go. We have members who serve in all theaters, in every branch of government and in every arena of law enforcement and emergency services. So, service and that lifestyle is something we know and continue to know throughout our lives.
