WOW!
I hated it. After my popcorn ran out I was really starting to wonder why I was still in the theater.

This movie sucked balls. Waste of my fucking three bucks at Blockbusta's.

Watched Flyboys last night, enjoyable, some good action in the air, has a love line to it though, not your action filled war movie, although it is based on a true story.

I'd watch it again if some chic came ova or something.

I had a hard time getting thru this one as well. I enjoyed Transporter 2, but this one was disappoinging.

I've been on an old movie kick lately and just watched The Sting again...that movie still rocks. Newman and Redford together, doesn't get much better than that.

That movie was hilarious. I love the part where he nails his old lady in Chinatown.

Anyone seen Hannibal Rising?

I am going to see it in two hours... I will write my review of it, without spoilers upon my return...

I found that alll of the movies were nowhere near as good as the books. It's just that simple for me, so I am going to save myself the couple bucks and wait for your review.

Unless Gong Li gets naked in it, I'll pass  :D

Ok, just got back from Hannibal Rising. Let's just say, the movie itself was really good. Gong Li is ABSO-FUCKIN-LUTELY just insanely beautiful. Just watching her on screen took my breath away. Sorry T, no skin. But, her face is so angelic...

The dude that played Hannibal nailed the psychopathic facial expressions spot on.

Now, I have been a fan of Thomas Harris since I was young. I read "The Red Dragon" years and years ago, and watched the original movie "Manhunter" back in the mid 80's. I followed up with Silence of the Lambs, and later Hannibal.

The movies let the books down alot... but this one, having not read the book Hannibal Rising, was really well done. However, without any spoilers, I have to say, they will be making another one. There is too much of a gap between this one, and when Will Graham catches him. In fact, that part of Hannibals life has never been explored.

The movie alone, is worth it's ticket price just to see Gong Li on the big screen. That woman is fucking amazing.

Cheers,

Darren

So he looked like SB without his cigar and coffee?
Well, I haven't had the honor of meeting SB yet, but... if he looks THAT evil, then I will make sure I show up with a box of the Finest Cuban Macs that I can find... 8)

just saw Way of the Gun again. maybe the finest first 5 minutes and a damn good last 20 minutes, with good shit in between.

we rewound the first part maybe 5 times. I thought my LTC was going to piss himself...

yeah, it's movie night here in MRE land... and I have 17 hours til I'm on shift again... if only they'd open the MWR "phone center" (engineer tape box) I could call someone...

That movie is outstanding. The cast is great, but it's just a bad ass flick

Saw Hannibal Rising. There wasn’t much to it except those ‘evil glances’ mentioned earlier. It got a little redundant about the ohhhh 100th time they showed it. Not much suspense or horror, just a little gore.
