

That's what it was, San Mai Tanto, those are sweet. Last time I saw one was about 5 yrs ago and they were hundreds of dollars, depending on the blade length, up to close to a thousand.I think mine would be a Cold Steel tanto, not sure what it's called but it's got a special coating on the blade to make it super hard and hold an edge.
Compared to regular Cold Steel knives these are about 600.00 to 800.00 dollars, depending on blade length.
Haven't seen them for about 5 yrs or so, but I still remember holding it at the store, man, she was beautiful.![]()
