Kinetik,
You are officially on a STFU profile now. Keep acting like a clown and you won't be around much longer.
Rucking
Hi there Rich/Kinetik,hi
my names rich and im a senior at liberty university majoring in criminal justice. after i graduate my goal is to be in SF (enlisting or going the officer route im not sure yet). i plan on being in SF for 10 yrs and then join the fbi.
im pretty sure i have the mental toughness for it because im not the kind of person who quits after they commit to something but im not physically ready (still working on it). ive read tons of information on SF and rangers and i cant wait to learn some more from you guys.
For someone who just registered and is seeking more information, you sure didn't waste any time stepping on your crank, and alienating those who would provide that information.
One very important element of "mental toughness" is attention to detail, such as those listed in the site Rules. Perhaps you should start there.
I'm also curious as to what, in your mind, constitutes "tons" of information on SF and Rangers? A couple of Linderer's books? SH 21-76? Maybe "How to get selected"?
Another thing to keep in mind, since you aspire to be in a leadership position, either as a SF NCO or Officer, is the first rule of leadership, at least the first rule I was taught. Straight outta SH 21-76:
Platoon Leader: Responsible for what the patrol does or fails to do.
This really applies to leaders at any level, not necessarily just a PL.
Another good one is:
Accept just criticism and take corrective action for mistakes
Please keep in mind that JUST criticism will rarely be defined by you, but rather those in your chain of command.
Just some things to chew on...
