Sounds like you already know this, but I’m going to say it because it is something my unit is going though. If you have a myspace or anything try to keep in touch with your buddy’s. One of my good friends over here damn near lost is leg to an EFP and even though he is back home I worry about him and no one hears from him. So if you haven’t already you might want to drop a line so your buddy’s don’t hear everything though the chain of command on your status. I know they would love to hear form you if you haven’t already talked to them.
Leadership is an action, not a position.

Welcome to the site...and thank you for your service.

Just because you are medically retired from the military does not mean your service to the Army buddies have to be over. There are many things you can do..simple things like visiting wounded soldiers in the VA or even going to the local airport and welcoming them back stateside.

I just wanted to sayone more thing, I don't mean to keep going on and on, but my goal to become a Ranger has NOT changed!!
There is not Ranger Batt here that I know of I know 2nd Batt is in Ft. Lewis.
I know that just fighting to stay in alone will be a hard fight, but I'm praying that I can continue to pursue my dream of becoming a Ranger. I'm PTing more everyday then i was before i got injured.
