I was with 1st CEB Bco&Cco from 88 to 91, Task force Papa Bear for the Gulf Vets. The reason I got out is because you can't lateral to any MOS with out re-enlistment.

This guy is Chesty,Gunny Highway and John Wayne. At least he's not claiming to be a SEAL.

Note- Most REMF's claim to be Recon

ranger RGR Pete,

REMF's?

What got me was not just that he claimed 2 recon units but also MSG duty. If I remember correctlty MSG is a long school with an extremely high wash out rate and it used to be a three year tour of duty afterwards. Besides most who went MSG tried to stay as long as they could in MSG as the first billet is usually to some god forasken place like Mongolia for a year and half then they may get a decent embassy like the Phillipines after that ... if the are able to stay in then they get the duty stations if Europe, the Carribean and the South Pacific.

Needless to say there is very little jMOS jumping around once a person gets into MSG.

Maybe we bring back all the posers and banned jerks for a one day target practice, say, April Fools day?

Borebrush-Your post just about explained it all. The sad thing is these poser fucks join the Guard or LRS units and tell the same lies. After 3 years USAR/NG and 6 yrs Army I ask myself "Was I the only none RECON guy in the Corps?"
