Went to a gun store yesterday that had among other things about a dozen M-1 Garands. All were in good to excellent condition. Seen them, but never really held one. I can see why the WW2 men are considered the"Greatest Generation". You gotta be a black-coffee drinkin', red meat eatin', unfiltered Lucky-Strike smokin' bad-ass with cast iron balls to employ that weapon.

Daddy wants one.

I hear ya Brother. Although we don't have any snow, yet, it was about 6* here most of last week, then up to 52* yesterday, and its plummetting back down to about 6*-10* again later today.

One thing I never understood, why don't homeless people migrate? If I was homeless I would fucking walk down south forever. No way would I stay where I know full well I can freeze solid overnight. :?

That is my long gun of choice. Them black guns are just a fad and will fade away eventually.

It was -28 on the way to work this a.m. (that's 28 degrees below zero for you southern fellas who may not be familiar with this type of sign in front of the temp)

That's before the windchill.
Man, it was -31 yesterday, -15 this morning, and the HIGH tomorrow is supposed to be -36. I can't wait to get out of this state.

I'm just waiting for that week in January where it normally stays around -60. I hate this place.

I have a solution. Going forward, all U.S. classified documents should be kept in the same filing cabinet as President Obama's college transcripts and birth certificate. Problem solved!

That's :o cold...my nipples got hard just imagining -60 (not in the good way). Can you notice a difference between -20 and -60? Seems to me that once it hits around -15, my body doesn't recognize a difference if it keeps dropping.
Uh ya. Fuck that. I thought it was cold around here, you guys can keep that shit.
