The man replies: "wow... well at least I don't have cancer"

Prednisone fucking sucks.

Prednisone is some really nasty shit, sometimes worse than what you are taking it for. The reason for prescibing it like the Doctor did is that it's VERY addictive and if you don't taper off the dosage, it feels like every bone in your body is breaking! Taken for long periods of time, it will double or triple your weight, make your face swell so bad the Doctors call it "Moon Face", make fatty deposits build up between your shoulder blades just below your neck.....called "Buffalos Hump". It will also fuck up your liver and kidneys if the dosage is high enough for long enough. NASTY SHIT, but it does work good if taken for short periods like you are.

10mg pill 4x daily for 3 days, then 3x daily for 3 days, 2x daily for 3, then 1x daily for 3.
