Roger that, you're in my phone bro. Although I don't think I've ever been bored working a Friday night in the city, I would prefer it, but I just ain't that damn lucky.

Is there ever a better time than right now for some Wild Turkey, steaks on the grill, and guitar music?

Since I was in the Guard anyway and I always wanted to know what it was like, after 16 years of "Air Force Appreciation time" (that's what the Airmen call prior service from other branches, esp Army & USMC). I thought what the hell and enlisted as a Ssgt in the Air Guard. There was no way I was going to make it to 20 years in the Army Guard...no way.

It was everything you fuckwits ever dreamt about plus they unfooked my records so I could get my 20 year letter and retire as a CPT.

My first drill with my new unit, they had a beautiful redhead and a buxom, long legged blonde at PT. Yep, it's all that boys! :)

Yep, if I wasn't medically retired with a wonderful pay and benefits package, I'd probably still be glutton for punishment and cussing you. However, my plans were to IST to 20 SFG when I got back from Afghan. Wonder how that would have turned out? These are the things that haunt me.

And you're still a DICK, but I love ya like a brother mom should have clubbed at birth.

(on a serious side note, thanks for your service and congrats on your 20 year letter.)

When in England on a deployment, we had the luxury of exfil-ing out of Mendenhall AFB. Man those were nice digs.

We ran in to an AF re-up NCO in the chow hall and had a discussion about Air Force recruiting, etc. He mentioned that he joined the AF during Vietnam because he had a back problem that would prevent him from joining the Army.

Of course, we asked "What back problem"? His response was that he had a big yellow stripe running down the middle of it.

SO....

If you tell the Marines to secure a building, they are going to level the building and stand guard on the remains.

If you tell the Army to secure it, we will conduct a deliberate attack...kill everything inside that isn't dressed like us...establish a perimeter and defend against counter-attack.

If you tell the Navy to do it, they will sweep and mop the floors, turn the lights off, and put chains on the doors.

The Air Force gets the same directive and they find the owner, sign a six month lease......with an option to buy.
