Good to see you around again, SnafuRacer :) :) - I agree with you about Constantine

Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy is fun; the books are better, but you can only do so much with 2 hours of time.

My wife's kids (she's a teacher) love Wallace and Grommit. I guess since it has been approved here, I can watch it now. :D

Lord of War was a pretty good flick.

History of Violence was a waste of celluloid.

Saw Jarhead. Good flick although it wasn't as action-packed as the movie trailers had let on. To me it was sort of a little "Thin Red Line"-ish. I have to say that in the packed theater, I thought that the audience finally got a little idea of what we all have to go through on deployment as far as worrying about what's going on back home as well as what's going on around us.

Saw Jarhead too. So so. I read the book before and its definately better than the movie. Swofford is different in the book, the movie makes him out to be more dramatic. The other characters a different as well, and some of the storyline was changed. In the book, most of the interesting things happened before the Desert Shield/Storm deployment. The movie rushed all that and went right to DS/S. So it lacked quite a bit of juice. Wasn't exactly "page to screen."

SFC Hit_it is right. Far better than most!!! At least with Harry, we know it is a fantasy. It does not pretend to be something else.

I agree it was a very entertaining movie. It is one that I would go to see a second time.
