Fire Fox has been freezing up in this computer at work. Since I lost admin access to this PC, and the only one we don't have admin access to. I can not install any anti spyware. I can't even defrag the damn thing. Also, Firefox seems to be a little slow at times.

Opera seems to be working very well. It is going to take a while to become familar with it.

I may have to look a Kmelon too.

I used Firefox until a year ago, when work for my major client required I integrate with their systems. So it's IE again for me. All my kids use Firefox. Generally, the more savvy types (I'm not one of them, but I take their advice) use alternatives to IE, so hackers and buggers stick to attacing IE for the low hanging fruit. But like others have said, Spybot and Adaware along with a good anit-virus program will keep you safe.

Bill, You can still use Firefox if you download the extension that alows you to view using IE. I have to do that on pages that require Flash, because I am not allowed the admin power of installing and it must have already been installed in the IE browser.

I use Fire Fox, the Mozilla Suit, and IE. I have had trouble installing Ad-Ins in FF, but that's the only problem.

Also, for the anit spy/mal-ware, the Microsoft Anit-Spyware tool works pretty good.

and can be downloaded from microsoft, but keep Ad-aware and spybot, or other stuff. Microsoft doesn't detect IE Cache spyware.
