Anyone ever been to "Medieval Times"? Wonder if it's any good?

Dallas is excellent. Good food, costumes, great show.
It's not filled up with a bunch of kids in their burger-king crowns, is it??

My brother and I hit up the one in Los Angeles about a year ago. It was great fun! They open the "courtyard" doors about an hour before the show, and there are not one, but two bars you can get hammered at (if you like)! If you like horses, they are on display as well (behind glass). I think there was just one mare and 8 stallions (pretty much all ready to go to stud)...it was funny watching all the people with the "Oh My God look at the size of that"-look.

My bro and I got the "day-of" tickets and got seated in the antagonist's section, and even before the real show started, "the King" kept making rude remarks about our group to get us riled up. It was also great fun during the show by doing a little acting ourselves as the "rowdy, uncouth lot".

Oh...and more beer during the show, lots of food, no forks, and a hot serving-wench!

Thanks very much for the intell. Are you sure you guys were acting??! And hot serving-wenches? Wait a minute.....I didn't see no sammiches on the menu! (But I did see the bar listed.)

I think this would be pretty nifty to take my tired young Ranger to before he goes back to Lewis. Groovy. Thanks again, CloakandDagger.

edited: my mistake on the Ranger.

Fixed that for you. I make no claims to being a Ranger. No title is fine too.

Yuor a good man CD. I like the no title thing. When people write "Ranger Rock Island Ranger" I laugh. I like Andy better. 8)

Someone said that they were glad to hear that the "Balloon Boy" story was a hoax because he thought Michael Jackson was ordering takeout food from heaven.

Interesting conversation on large target weapons development... the (timeless) ethical question was posed about creating a first strike weapon that would/could kill many people.

My thought is once you are in a mosh, you are in a mosh... the target exists. So, isn't the question who takes down the target rather than whether it is taken down?

So, does the ethical question evolve to: we take down the target using xx of our guys or if we do our job, none?

Or is that just the mind's justification for creating something that may very well be used to kill a lot of folks?

I ramble... sorry.
