The night Desk Clerk at a hotel goes on break and has the Bell Boy cover the desk for him. While he's gone, three people come in and rent one room. The Bell Boy charges each $10.00...$30.00 total. When the Desk Clerk comes back, the Bell Boy tells him that he rented a room and gives him the $30.00. The Desk Clerk tells him that the room is only $25.00, and to take $5.00 up to the room, and give the money back. The Bell Boy takes five $1.00 bills out of the cash register, but on the way up to the room he can't figure out how to split the $5.00 evenly between the three people. So, he puts two of the $1.00 bills in his pocket, and tells the people that he's overcharged them, and gives each of the three people back $1.00.

Each of the three people have now paid $9.00 for the room.....
3x9=27.....the Bell Boy put $2.00 in his pocket....27+2=29......

Where did the other dollar go to????????
