1. A safety issue?
2. 11 year old kids make them in San Salvador while chained to a metal table?
or
3. It is the favored holster of Michael Moore, Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand?

That I would have to see. I've used a Fobus paddle with Glocks on and off for about 4 years now. I prefer something different, but how is drawing a Glock from the Fobus going to deactivate the trigger safety? I've heard of people shooting themselves in the ass when holstering a Glock into a thumbreak-style holster and getting the thumbreak tab caught in the trigger guard. It happened to a Corrections Deputy here a few years ago.Ranger Desert Sloth wrote:I think that the problems with the FOBUS holsters were related to any of the Glock models. They were causing the weapon to dishcharge when drawing out.
Is this the issue you are referring to? http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml04/04155.html

Now that would bother me.Smokin Joe wrote:No the video I have shows how an individual can rip the fucking thing right off your hip in about half a second. Snapping the rivets.
I prefer the Sidearmor IWB, and the Wilderness belt. If you can rip that that off, its probably gonna cut me in half.

I hate to break this to everyone but almost any holster can be stripped off your side that way. I would only use a Foubus for carrying a pistol comcealed. Seems to me if you are doing everything right, that bad guy isnt going to see your pistol until it is to your advantge. I will say that I have more experiance with a regualr duty holster and the retention techniqe we are taught is to put your forearm under the bottow of the holster and pull up, this puts the but of the pistol in your rib cage. It is more of an on the ground type scenario. If your standing then there are much better things to do!!
