We had a prior service dude who joined my platoon at he beginning of the AIT phase of OSUT. You would've thought he was a movie star, the way the youngsters were sucking up to him. The DS's gave him a bunk on the opposite side of the bay, so he wouldn't have to be around all the 'groupies.'

I would imagine that it will be more of a brush-up course for you. There probably won't be a lot of smokings.
Who knows, though....might as well prepare yourself for the worst-case scenerio: You'll be beginning OSUT from Day 1 and your DS's ex-wife was a Marine. He HATES the Corps.
