warm & fuzzy

Post by Julieanne »

Thanks everyone, it's nice to be here! The sense of community is outstanding. I look forward to getting to know you all.
RGR Bell- Wade probably won't sign on (busy, etc.), but he knows that I like being a part of this so he appreciates that you all are here for me...
Pastor, you secured a spot in my heart over at the other site, I guess I'm just another groupie in your fan club
Thanks again all!

Anyhow, currently I'm a wife of a Ranger who is NOT in a RGR unit, but is over w/ the 81st BDE. Back in the day, I was "in", but now I'm not and I live vicariously through him and my friends who remained in to do the right thing- I love you all, be safe. I'm also a Mom of two gorgeous kiddos. And, since the offspring will both be in school this year, I need to find a career- ugh.. now things are about to get hard. Would you like a bagel?
Welcome Julie.

Why did you remove all the military info off your signature? And you are hidden - go in Profile and change to not hidden. Why hide? Julie with the two kids near Spokane that loves bagels........ try eating krispy kreme donuts, they are just sweeter bagels. 8)

RGR Steadfast... the signature seemed long and bulky- ahem... but, I fixed it. AND- the hidden thing was a mistake, meant to press the reply notification button- thanks for pointing that out! And, though I like to push the bagels on people, I don't usually partake in them... or KK's, those are for the kids. I'm a gravy and biscuits kinda gal...mmmmmmm :D

Welcome and pass the bagel. I would actually like a gyro with garlic.

Pastor Abell, knowing that if in need, I, a mere heathen, could approach you in search of guidance concerning matters of moral character and GRITS esteemed you to the position that you hold with me. I'm sure I'll be needing some guidance in a moment or two!!
- uhm... I want to clarify the "moral character" thing... I was talking about needing to refrain from consuming my children for dinner, tonight, or any night between now and the time Big Daddy returns... hee, hee- thanks.
Amen.

Yes, I can see some "enlightenment" or guidance IS required.

First, my child....I have found that children just dont taste worth a damn unless properly cooked. If they are older then it is very difficult to get them in the oven.
Second: Setting them on fire where they stand is not an effective way to properly cook them.
Third: While understanding of the desire I have found the local Constabulary frowns on eating children.
Fourth: It takes an enormous amount of condiments to properly season a full grown child for proper preparation.
Fifth: Eating them in one sitiing would be difficult for a petite lady though I am sure BM and Ron 375 could eat a whole squad of em.

Thus, the only left is just hug em till the urge passes.

Pastor, your kind and heart warming words have gained you a gentle kiss of gratitude on each cheek. Thanks to you, my children sleep peacefully in their beds, dreaming of their RGR Daddy. Should my sweet angel babies challenge me again, I will reflect on your wisdom that is now printed and saved on my fridge.

GRITS! I thank thee for sending thy prophet my way! There is HOPE for my lowly, heathen fanny.

Jeezus!! I just can't get into this. Call me a heathen, call me what ya want. It's funny as hell to read, but it ain't me.

My two feet must be sunk in the ground a foot. I'm so practical I confuse people.

Have fun kids.
