Gentleman,
I have not posted in a great while, but have continued to read and learn.
I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I was in fact recently hired by the Chicago Police Department, and wil be starting the academy on 27DEC2004. I am very pleased. I am focused on being the best recruit that I can be, and exceeding even my own expectaions. I will not fail, and I hope to make some of you here that I have spoken with proud.
I also wanted to thank you all for the site, the knowledge, the leadership, and the support you have given me. I will use the lessons I have been taught here to make myself a better person and a better police officer. I will continue, at your allowance, to to return to this site and continue learning.
I will not fail. I will never fail.
