Have you looked at their web site? I don't think its that they don't appreciate what he did, it seems that there are those who dispute his version of what happened while there. I know that some POW/MIA groups don't like the fact that he basically had a law passed making it a federal crime to try and search for evidence of POWs that were left there alive by the US. He stopped all private search efforts at the time and future ones form happening.

Funny thing that.. I have a friend who spent a month in Vietnam and Cambodia last year. He ran into a dude who worked as an interpreter for the US Army during the war. This cat told him that it is an common knowledge there that, A) there are still soldiers being held up north in the mountains and, B) they will never leave there. They are going to be held until they die.

I'm just sayin'..

The bottom line is it's all about politics for the sake of politics. People that say they support the American military jumped all over John Kerry and now the favor is being returned, although not effectively. Wait...John Kerry's service was categorized by his actions after his return from Vietnam not his actions during Vietnam...My bad!
