After reading this thread, I decided to rent it (again). It's been a while since I saw it last.

Blood Diamond was a great fucking movie.

'Last Man Standing' with Bruce Willis. Cool scene, he's sitting at the table loading about 20 .45 mags to take with him. Thought it was a cool movie.

Man of the Year ? I caught it on HBO and it wasn't what I though it would be. I will not go so far as to recommend it.

I worked in Downtown L.A. when i was in high school. I was in the Arco towers when they filmed that scene. They were below me (I think I was on the 17th floor) . It was pretty neat to watch.

Here ya go

distinct lack of recoil from the FN/FAL

firing full auto INSIDE the vehicle, through the windshield... gotta hurt the eardrums...

the way the bullets impacting the vehicles and the damage done, really makes you scratch your head.

once you have seen it for real, it sort of numbs you for hollywood. I admit, it's one of my favorite movies, and definitely one of my favorite shootout scenes... well, the farmhouse raid in "Shooter" was pretty realistic too...

All I saw was the receiver... and the charging handle. I knew it was FN, just didn't know what type. I said FAL by default... I stand corrected.
