My recruiter just called me, and he has reserved me a contract for 68W Option 40. I go in to MEPS on Monday. I will leave to basic October 25. As dismayed as I am that I will have to wait so long, I am excited to have that much longer to prepare. If I find a question that hasn't already been answered (which isn't likely) I'll post in the proper forum, and meanwhile I appreciate the advice.
OK, so you are obviously on your way. As I mentioned earlier, the search button is your friend. But, if I ever see you spell the word Ranger without a capitol letter...

Now, self administer a PT test and post the results here by Sunday night at midnight.

Per your request, Ranger Adviser Jim, my PT scores are as follows:

2 miles in 13:40
35 push-ups in 2 minutes
60 sit-ups in 2 minutes

I understand that I have a long way to go. In training myself to death for the last fortnight, my resolve has only grown. I have presented myself as an imbecile thus far, this thread is making that much clear. I scored a 98 on the AFQT of the ASVAB, which doesn't prove intelligence by any stretch of the imagination, but I hope it shows that I am taking this thing seriously. The PT forum is my coach and your oft-posted phrase, "never, never quit" is my cadence.

I'll post here again when I break 12:00 and 70 sit-ups/push-ups each.[/i]

The reason I gave you the task is to get a baseline for you to measure progress. Now run some more.

And the Reason "I" gave you the task was to see if you could follow a directive.

So do 50 pushups, (like I told you to do the first time)
