As for getting into the Regiment, I agree with spanky. However, one of my FSO's got promoted to 0-3 while he was the Company FSO. He stayed for 18 months and then went to the Regular Army. He was an 0-3 for about 6 months before he left. Hope that helps.
If you get there, Listen to your FSNCO, Remember, it's his team, you're there to learn & guide when needed.
