Sorry for the delayed response, a family member unfortunately past away Friday and I've been busy with that.
Ranger Bell, you're right, I should have waited, but I didn't. I'll tell my recruiter today when I visit him and see what he says. Again, I figured I could volunteer in Airborne school, but having it guaranteed in a contract is much more wise. I'll see what happens. Thanks for the welcome and advice.

this is what i want you to do. come on over to the Recruiting Forum and tell your story. explain all that happened from meeting your Recruiter to the day you joined. i want to put some current personal perspective on the site. something wannabes can relate to.
