I don't get it. Why did ya take something ya didn't want? Get yer ass back down there and tell him ya changed yer mind. Yer gonna wait until that Option 40 comes along. Option 40 or nothing. Period. Do it.

Welcome to the board dumbass.

Sorry for the delayed response, a family member unfortunately past away Friday and I've been busy with that.

Ranger Bell, you're right, I should have waited, but I didn't. I'll tell my recruiter today when I visit him and see what he says. Again, I figured I could volunteer in Airborne school, but having it guaranteed in a contract is much more wise. I'll see what happens. Thanks for the welcome and advice.

If your smart you definitely will remember Ranger h8train has worked very hard in his military speciality. He has given his all for his country, our country. Do not joke when the best man (Ranger h8train) is there to teach you how to stay alive. Be respectful of him in his experience. And be respectful to other Rangers as well. Listen & Heed!

Condolences to Easthaven and family. Welcome.

this is what i want you to do. come on over to the Recruiting Forum and tell your story. explain all that happened from meeting your Recruiter to the day you joined. i want to put some current personal perspective on the site. something wannabes can relate to.

i also explained what you should do on RENOing your contract in a post by Nuetron. Read and HEED.
