I'll send him another that's links he needs to read before he ventures out of the intro section.

You think they're harsh in here, well, they're not, they're trying to keep you from getting anyone killed should you be given the honor of serving in the U.S. armed forces.

Thanks for your possible interest in joining the Army, but with your intro, your chances of a recovery here are pretty slim. The dogs are about to be released.

He just got a pretty thorough pm on what he needs to read and what he needs to include in his intro. I'll post it here too just so he can't say he wasn't warned.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Read 'em, and if you've read 'em, read 'em again because you didn't learn much the first time!

The New Member Guide-

Intro FAQ-
http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1837

Leathernecks DEP Lesson 1-
http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1812

Now that you've read these I want you to go make a THIRD introduction including EVERYTHING below:

1. Name & Age

2. Militart Status (Civvie or DEP)

3. What You Want To Be (i.e. 11x w/opt. 40, 18x, 11x w/opt. 4, et cetera)

4. Your Goals In The Military

5. Anything Else You Feel They Might Want To Know Even Though They Probably Couldn't Care Less

Damn, just when the quality of introductions was beginning to improve, this squib wanders in and upsets the order of the universe.

1. My name is Carl I am 23 years old.

2. I am a civilian.

3. I am highly interested in coming into the military under an 18x contract with an option 40.

4. My goal is to join the military, and make a career out of it, the SF portion of the military seems like a good mating of my personality and skills that I would be able to offer.

5. I realize joining the military is no small task, you are forever tasked with your duties both in this world and the next. I also have some foreign language knowledge (mostly verbal); which would give me somewhat of a grip in my future career path.

You have no "skills" to offer. If you can qualify for an Option 40, you will be given the opportunity to learn the skills of a warrior and vew make the cut. I don't think you have yet overcome your deficiencies.
