I am currently a 19 year old sophomore at the University of Georgia studying Political Science. I have had a desire to join the military since early in high school

You're almost half way through college and want to quit. Do you realize that if you join the Army, you're going to war? That means people will be trying to kill you and your job will be to kill them before they can do that. I question your "desire." Why didn't you join ROTC?

I am currently a 19 year old sophomore at the University of Georgia studying Political Science. I have had a desire to join the military since early in high school and that desire is starting to build more and more as I get less and less interested in college life. I have no prior military experience, but I have spent these last few months reading all I can regarding enlistment options. This is a very valuable resource and I have found answers to any questions I've had here and at other forums, so I will just leave it at that.
