Is it my eyes or my TV
Does Al R of the Weather Channel look like he gained 60 lb. & the girls he is surrounded by are also fatter than when they first came on that show? Or is it just the way they look on my Colby 32" 720p 60 hz shit box. I got it set so I can see the scoreboards on all sports I watch.

I can't say I watch The Weather Channel much, but with respect to possible technical issues:
Is your cable/satellite package an HD package? (Note: "digital" doesn't necessarily mean "HD".) If so, are you tuning in the the High Def version of the Weather Channel? Does your cable/satellite company just re-encode the SD (standard definition) signal, stretch it sideways and call it an "HD" channel? Try looking for objects on screen that should be circular, if they don't look as circular as they should be, the picture is getting stretched.
If you're getting an SD signal, find the button on your remote that is probably called "format", "aspect", or "ratio". Set it to 4:3 (the one with the black bars on the sides). Do the proportions look normal now?
A couple of notes on digital vs. HD: A digital cable package just means the signal is being transmitted digitally, it has nothing to do with resolution of the picture. Over old analog cable it typically has the advantage of an interactive channel guide, and a slightly better image quality over old analog cable. The cable provider might still throw in an actual HD channel or two as a teaser to upgrade. Since your TV max's out at 720p, you might have a hard time physically seeing the difference between a digital SD signal (typically labeled "480i", sometimes "480p") and an actual HD signal (720p, 1080i, or 1080p).
