Introduction
Hi, I'm a veteran--not a combat though. I served as a 12B from 1992-1995 in the 19th Engineer Battalion at Fort Knox in Kentucky. I'm here to ask some questions about some relatively obscure but important Ranger history; I will do so in the history forum. In the meantime, thanks for having me here.

Re: Introduction
Thanks for the kind welcome. I have some questions about Ranger history but I'll go to the history forum for that. Thanks again... oh, my service was brief and not during wartime. When I was in I wanted like hell to go into combat but with almost 20 years of retrospect I'm glad I didn't. Still though, there's this weird feeling I have like I didn't "really" serve because I never saw a firefight that didn't involve MILES gear or pretend landmines. Oh well. Thanks again for welcoming me.
