For those who are DEP's

Post by Bugsy »

This link may seem cheesy, wimpy or whatever. But as I look back upon my life, there is one thing I know for certain, as I know every single Ranger who has ever served our beloved nation will attest.......

WE ARE PROUD THAT WE DIDN'T QUIT AND REALIZED OUR COMMITMENT TO SERVE OUR NATION AS A U.S.ARMY RANGER!

You remember that when the going gets tough, when you see people quitting beside you who you called your friend, who "seemed" to be tougher than you, more physicaly fit etc.........when you hear rumors that it isn't worth it, when you even question why its necessary to go beyond the call of duty.

Look at this video and think to yourself........ when I approach the last day's of my life, will I be proud of my actions or will I regret the missed opportunities that were presented in front of me. For many of us, our pride and dedication to our "personal" commitment to ourselves was the only thing that saw us through.

I hope that your commitment to the objective in which you claimed was of personal importance to you see's you through as well.

Outstanding post Bugsy! I just listened to the original speech this last weekend. It is over an hour long, but well worth the time.

Thanks for sharing it and your thoughts

Ranger Bugsy,

Roger that. Thank you for the insight. Professor Pausch certainly has a solid outlook on life.
