Re: Introduction: Val

Hello, Ranger Disinfertention. I have always held a deep fasciation with history, particularly military history, ever since I was a kid. Before graduating high school I was going to enlist, however my wrestling coach recommended I go to school first and that's what I did. After that I spent a coupl...

Re: Introduction: Val

Welcome to ArmyRanger.com Val. I've updated your rank and permissions. Be sure to check out the mentoring zone and other areas. With only a few weeks before you head out, leverage what is useful on the site to get you better prepared. Why do you want to serve? Did you play any sports in school? You'...

Re: Introduction - Robert

Unfortunately this is the worst time of year to get any progress on administrative items. Probably your best thought is to be prepared to wait until after the new year for news or movement on much of this...

Re: Holy Crap!

This is a neat video but after the first scene it was over the top... Sure enough, this is fake. Still awesome that someone made this.

Re: Introduction- Sniggle0788

Dylan, Welcome to the site. Check out the new areas you have access to and look into applying yourself to those. While PT will do wonders to put you ahead of your peers when you join, much of the information in the mentoring zone has the potential to set you up for success for RASP. Why do you want ...

Re: SITREP- Avonte

Avonte, This is something new they are doing so I can't really relate to it. As you said, it's not the end. I'll update your rank. Please check in with us and let us know where you get orders to go to. There are some good practices when arriving to your unit that can help set you up for success if y...

Re: SITREP- Avonte

Hey Avonte. Any news? I think you mentioned in the Discord that you thought you will end up waiting for a bit which gives you a chance to get in better shape, nothing wrong with that. Check in when you can!

Re: Ranger Recruiters at OSUT

That's good information and a decent use of the search button / updating an old post. I would scold you for necro'ing a 5 year old topic but I think it was a good choice.

Re: Introduction - rosettaprone

My goal is a score of 600. Remind me not to ask you any more fitness questions since you may major in that... Kidding, awesome answer. Very thorough. Obviously you have plenty of time to work on fitness and ideally the Army will have figured out a decent train up program to get you even better once...

Re: Introduction- Avonte

Thanks for checking in, Avonte. The class should test some of your limits. For some it will be physical. Others mental... and some just both. Gotta keep the attitude you have and remember why you volunteered and earned your chance. Don't lose sight of that. Good plan for the weekend. Lay low, do som...

Re: Introduction - Robert

Rangers, Since my last update my braces have come off and I have started talking with recruiters. Tomorrow I head to MEPs for my physical screening and if all goes to plan I'll be swearing in on Thursday with an 11X Opt 40 contract. Thursday is tomorrow now! Looking forward to hearing back from you...

Hey, my name is Aidan, I'm 20 years old and currently a Junior in college. I working towards getting my EMT-B cert. within the next 6 months and I also volunteer at my local fire station. I'm still deciding which branch to pursue, as I have more than a year to decide and probably about 2 years befo...
