Is the stock GSXR cam too big and kills low-mid range torque?

I always go a bit towards the tight side on valve lash when I'm building racing motors and the cam is properly selected.

Loosening the lash alters the duration at the valve and causes quicker valve opening and closing but it is rougher ...

I put some shorter aftemarket shocks on it, made it a bit firmer but I like it as it feels more controlled. Still rides great.

I've also swapped the bars, rear fender, etc.

May put a spring seat on it later, also I still need to build the exhaust for it, too busy to mess with it ...

I think they should make the selector switch and mag release ambidexterious on military weapons........not only to accomodate the lefties but also in case a person injures their right hand or arm and needs to switch in order to stay in the game.
