Since I last posted on this site a long time ago I have joined the active duty Army (11b), made it through OSUT, and was awarded an airborne ranger contract while in Basic. Now I'm on HRAP preparing to go to airborne school and eventually RIP. Any words of wiisdom or advice would be greatly ...

I know that what I want to do, SFC Hit_It, and thats go Active Duty.

So to answer my other question, knowing now that I can go Active, would it be possible to renegotiate my contract in order to obtain infantry, airborne, and (hopefully) an option 40.
