Re: SF training in the 1960's
1960's? Didn't see the dates on that film, but judging by the old patrol caps, brass buckles, bright patches, etc. that had to be early 60s (pre-Johnson admin) at the latest, maybe the Kennedy era. That stuff was long gone by my time, the late 60s. And the judo/karate stuff? Never saw it, but maybe ...

I believe this may be the longest attempt at joining the army that I've ever seen. If it works out good for you for being so persistent. I fear I'll be dead of old age before this thread runs its course, but If you ever do get in and then fail because you're still not in shape and half stepping on ...

Mr. Wonderful - 1. STFU 2. Read more on the public forums before asking questions. 3. Do not waste our time - do not pass go, go directly to the Marines and enlist. Right off the bus, a Marine DI will accomplish more adjustment of your perspective in a couple of hours than all the boring useless wee...

Re: North Korea has lost internet
According to our in-house IT guy, NK has a total of just over 1000 IP addresses, less than we have in my county with a population of 15,000.

I won't argue with your definition.Silverback wrote:"Torture is the intentional infliction of severe mental or physical pain or suffering by or with the consent of the state authorities for a specific purpose."
But I know a lot of fraternities that are gonna be in a heap of trouble.

Re: Now Another Idiot Says The CIA Should Apologize

I cannot give accurate numbers, but based on the demonstrations I saw and the media coverage at the time, a great many Americans supported the maltreatment of US POWs held by NVN.Silverback wrote:How many Americans supported the maltreatment of POWs in Vietnam?
