Re: Introduction- Kaleb

I first met with a recruiter January of 2017, so about a year ago, and had already been reading through this site at the time so we talked about an 11X option 40. I will not be signing until I graduate, which I am set do do this upcoming May. I kept in contact with them for a while but ultimately th...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

17 Pull-ups 72 Push-ups 85 Sit-ups 2 mile run 14:15 (Ran this 4 days before the self administered fitness test) This was my first two mile run in 9 months, definitely have lost a lot of endurance. I did not run it at a maximal effort because I am still taking it easy on my knee but breaking 14 right...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Roger Ranger Disinfertention, I will live by that and will also continue to improve upon my weaknesses. Last week Monday I went to see a different doctor and this one was much more helpful. He explained more about Hoffa's disease/syndrome, analyzed my alignment, and used kinesio tape on my knee. The...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Another typo... I really need to concentrate on the attention to detail aspect of life.

Rangers, I will do an extra 200 pushups tomorrow on top of the exercises you would like to assign for my carelessness.

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Just realized that is mistyped how many push-ups I did in my last update. I actually did 73 push-ups and my goal was no less than 75. Sorry for the mistake, I will be more cautious from here on out.

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Push-ups 75 Sit-ups 83 Pull-ups 18 I am now in the next age category and should be getting at least 75 push-ups. This means I missed the standard that I was hoping to hit. Ranger Disinfertention, if I understand correctly it can occur either from an impact (which I beleive is what happened in my cas...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Ranger Disinfertention, I am doing what I can to recover based on the information I can find. In June the doctors said it is Hoffa's Disease, which is basically the fat pad under the patella getting pinched and swelling up, based upon MRI and X-ray scans. I was not given much advice besides ice and ...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Roger Ranger Disinfertention, I will take that to heart. The reason it is still a problem is because I did not give it proper time to heal the first time, hoping I finally learned my lesson.

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

School is still in high gear right now but recently I have gotten in a few more workouts. My knee is doing much better but is still not back to normal, therefore I have not been able to run yet. It has been almost 8 months so I am not sure where my 2 mile time will be; there is a good possibility it...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Not much to report back, I had midterms last week and have two more test this upcoming week so I have made no progress on reading through the Letters from school section or making my way through the site. Workouts have also been scarce the past week and a half. I will do a PT test later this week. S...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

As it has been three weeks, I will soon be testing push-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups. I will give an update with the results when they have been completed. I have been reading the Letters from School thread, it is packed with a lot of quality information on the process to becoming a Ranger. So far the ...

Re: Introduction- Kaleb

Ranger Jim, I wanted to have something productive to report back, next time I will update sooner. I have been sick and have had multiple tests to study for so today was my first time working out in a week and a half. I focused on chest and managed to set a new bench PR by 10lbs, now 265. I should ha...
