1066 is when the Normans invaded England. William the Conqueror (the Norman king) defeated King Harold at the Battle of Hastings. The Bayeux tapestry records the Channel crossing and the battle.

Introduction

I was in 3rd Platoon, A Co. 2/75 from 1976 through 1978. My Platoon leader was Lt Abazaid and my Company Commander was Cpt Malvest.
