Re: SITREP - NSB
Well... Just going to be up front about this. I got kicked out of airborne school with one jump left. I fucked up, I was stupid, and I guess I got what I deserved. Thank you all for your help and support up to this point. I will love by the ranger creed no matter where I go, but I know now that I wi...

Re: SITREP - NSB
When does BAC start? Never, never quit? Took a PT test on Wednesday to see who would go to Airborne school due to there only being 104 slots for 154 soldiers. Push-ups: 61 Sit-ups: 77 2 mi run: 13:42 I probably set myself back a little bit on not doing much PT over the holidays, so I'll have to wor...

Very true Ranger Steadfast. All I truly care about right now is that I am an 11B, and will soon be working towards the rest of the requirements to become a Ranger.Steadfast wrote:1st Sergeant just shows all who is in command.

Re: SITREP - NSB
Well, long story short... The first sergeant didn't want me to get promoted, so he denied it and promoted someone else. Oh well.

Re: SITREP - NSB
When you sign-in after block leave on 4 Jan, you can expect that your first task will be a PT test. It is an old Infantry School tradition to welcome you back. Never, never quit! Sounds good to me, Ranger Jim. Another quick SITREP. My platoon voted for me to be promoted from E-2 to E-3; I will be r...

Re: SITREP - NSB
Thursday we completed our 12 mile ruck to honor hill and I received my cross rifles. My turning blue ceremony is on this up coming Thursday, and then I will be graduating on Friday. There were definitely many ups and downs to OSUT. I don't think I had it as badly as a lot of people do. My SDS was mo...

I will be going down to the hotel tomorrow morning, and I will be going to MEPS and shipping out on Sept 03. I will keep this Ranger community updated on how I am doing as often as I can. I will be living the Ranger Creed every day, and hopefully someday I will be able to don the tan beret. Thank yo...

APFT graded by Army recruiters 20130820
Push-ups: 52
Sit-ups: 78
2 mi run: 15:10
Pull-ups: 6
I guess the only perk I got out of this was passing the APFT and getting my promotion; however, I am still not where I want to be and will continue working towards bettering myself.
