Re: Boots while rucking
Roger, Ranger Motar_guy78. It has been done. So will my boots continue to work or should I just buy new ones that are my size?

Re: Boots while rucking
Thank you for your info Ranger RangerX! Yeah, they were shitty wal mart socks, so that would make sense.

Boots while rucking
Howdy Rangers, I recently got some combat boots (Mil-Spec tactical footwear to be exact) about a size bigger than my normal shoe size for me. But whenever I ruck in them, they always seem to rub my ankle/shin area really bad, to the point of blood pouring down my leg. I had two pairs on socks on whi...

Re: Introduction John
Ranger ZoneIV, first off, thanks for the link, though at the time of the intro post I didn't know that EOD couldn't have opt 40. I've been through that site a bit now, but thank you. Why would it help for SF? Well, its a lot harder from what I've seen (Ranger school compared to SF assessment and sel...

Re: Can 89D enlist with option 40 also?
Thank you Ranger Goon175 for your clarification. Your title says in processing, so I'm unsure how to address you, I assume your a Ranger because your signature. I hope I'm correct. Since they don't want EOD guys I guess I'll go intelligence collector, maybe counter-intell if I can enlist as one. Tha...

If I could figure out how to edit post's I'd fix the mistakes. It won't happen again.

Re: Can 89D enlist with option 40 also?
Rangers, sorry for the offense. I do apologize, you all have my deepest respect, so it won't happen again. Ranger ., thank you for your reply, I believe my issue has been completely resolved (despite my stupidity, I'm sure there is still quite a bit left, but less every day). I'm unsure of what goon...

Re: Introduction John
Ranger RangerX, I understand what your saying, I shouldn't go in if I'm not 110%, because then a fellow solider won't get his spot and I won't be trying as hard as I should. I understand this, and whats why I'm still on the edge. I believe its an appropriate way to go for me, since my end goal is SF...

Can 89D enlist with option 40 also?
Hello Rangers! I've done some of my own research and talked to two recruiters. From my own personal research I've seen one site saying 89D can receive the option 40 on enlistment, and then one site (the 75th ranger devision showing all the MOS) didn't list 89D. So I'm unsure of what is correct. My r...

Re: Introduction John
Ranger RangerX, I personally think it'd be appropriate because my end goal is SF. While this is far away, ranger school would help prepare for that. I'd like to become a ranger, and fight with the rangers, it's just something I'm not sure I want 100% yet. What I've decided is to try to become an EOD...

Introduction John
Hey guys, I'm 17 years old and I'm currently a highschool senior. I'm looking to join the military but I cannot decide which path to take. Rangers seems like an appropriate option.
I'm looking forward to learning more about rangers here and I'll hope to make my decision soon.
