Re: "asked" to drop rip contract

Roger Rangers. I see know it was my misinterpretation of the post. I was thinking the user intended "asked" to actually mean told. Just like when my dad "asked" me to do things ... let's just say I really didn't have a choice in the matter.

"asked" to drop rip contract

I stumbled across a post on another forum a couple days ago and want to know what you Rangers think about this. http://www.army.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9710 (last post of page 1) I just graduated 11B OSUT yesterday (yay). During OSUT, they called every RIP contract holder (Option 40) to the class...

Re: Random thought of the moment.

Just a little heads up, this is a little graphic... The most awkward moment of my entire life was when I was at a hotel with all the other military kids the night before MEPS. I really didn't have plans for that night. I was just going to walk around, meet new people, maybe try to find another indiv...

Re: Introduction - Taylor

Ranger Jim, I am from the Oklahoma City area. I grew up on a farm, was home schooled all my life, and attended a year of collage after graduating. As a kid, I was always running around our farm playing army man. All through HS I was considering joining the Military after graduating. I was considerin...

Re: Introduction - Taylor

Hey Rangers, just an update at where I'm at: I took the stance all of you suggest on getting the 11x option 40 and it payed off ! At first the 11x op 40 was unavailable. Saturday, my recruiter called the ROC and he said there wouldn't be any NEW contracts coming out until early next year. So I told ...

Who is this "Rock"

Hello Rangers, My recruiter called a "R.O.C.K." (or "R.O.C.") to see if there were any available 11x option 40 contracts that he wasn't seeing on his computer. I searched this site and found another member mention a R.O.C.K./R.O.C. with the same situation. Who are these R.O.C.K./...

Introduction - Taylor

Hello Rangers, I'll try to make this short. My name is Taylor, I'm 19, and I'm currently pursuing a 11x op. 40 contract. Today I went to see a recruiter to begin the process and should be going to MEPS sometime early next week. My recruiter said I should expect to wait about 3-4 months to ship, so i...
