Re: Advice from a dropped RASP candidate

Keep the integrity and honesty throughout life and know that you have the values of a Ranger in my book. Best of luck

Re: SITREP

roshrich,
There are a variety of officers within the Regiment. As all officers are, they don't stay for long durations, but that is the way life is for you.

As far as what positions specifically? The army tries desperately to hold us to the light infantry brigade MTOE. So similar to 2nd BDE 82nd ...

Re: My gut tells me poser, but I need help.

I still wished to bring it to light to you Rangers and his unit if I was able to. He will end up trying to pass this over on the wrong person and get KTFO so perhaps his command could bring him back to reality.
Aside from the lack of paragraphs to make easy reading for retards like me, I like this ...

Only if you're part of a social experiment that you'll never be aware of.

Ranger Silverback,
Unfortunately, I'm already married so Canadian citizenship is not really an effective option. I did not live through the 70's. However, I do take comfort in your experience and confidence in such matters.

proudloosers,
I'm sure you're feeling a lot of animosity toward you right now. That's because you are.

You need to use rank/title where it's due, I may be a fully qualified Ranger, but there's still a lot of members that I will call by their title because I'm still a new guy in my opinion ...

MindMelter,
The only ASVAB score most people concern themselves with is the one labeled GT. If it is >110, you're solid for any job I know of

Re: Introduction - Rowdy

PS... as a shameless plug... you should look at being a 25B... Regiment is hurting for communicators at the moment

25B's will work on computers
25U's typically do radios, but can potentially work in the computer section based on need and personal past experience
25C's work with radios

Re: Introduction - Rowdy

MindMelter,
Do your research and make sure that the MOS you select has slots for a Skill level 1 (E1-E4) and get airborne in your contract at least.

As far as getting RASP in your contract, some recruiters need to be puched in the dick because they are trying to fufill certain needs.

When you are ...
