Re: Chinese navy vessel attempts to stop U.S. warship
I wonder what "In the vicinity" means when in relation to the Chinese aircraft carrier. I am certain the US would have done the same if a Chinese ship had come close to our aircraft carrier.

Re: Random thought of the moment.
Watching (in my rear mirror) a reckless driver winding in and out out of traffic without signals, cutting off others but realized they had on a small sign on back window (as that driver passed me) that explained it all. BABY ON BOARD How thoughtful, reminding me to be careful. If you have ever spen...

Re: Training at high altitude?
A little anecdotal evidence for what ever it is worth. I live at 6600ish ft. I run a bit but nothing crazy. I visited my in-laws in New Orleans. I had much better endurance in New Orleans because my body wasn't screaming for O2 after the first 5 minutes.

Re: 19 firefighters killed battling fast-moving Ariz. wildfi
Unfortunately I am totally ignorant about the location. All I know about Arizona is climbing the mountains there when 3rd Battalion did an "assault climber course" outside of FT Huachuaca. For some reason I thought this was on the border. I am currently trapped (TRAPPED I TELL YOU!!) in F...

Re: 19 firefighters killed battling fast-moving Ariz. wildfi
Doubtful this fire appears to be causes by lightnening strike. I really doubt either of those groups would choose Prescott AZ as a strike point. Terrorism because it is a somewhat remote area and in the north western part of the state and not what you would consider a drug corridor.
